Nivot

Forum: Realms Of Black Lake - Nivot are primate-like creatures that stand between 2 and 3 feet tall, and have mottled brown fur and black eyes. Distant relatives of gibberlings, like gibberlings, they run in packs of up to 50 members. They run using all four limbs, and are very fast, very agile, very strong, and quite vicious. They are excellent hunters, and extremely intelligent, often camouflaging themself to get closer to their prey, before launching highly coordinated attacks.

Their jaws can easily crush the largest of a man's bones, and their claws are poisonous. Add to this, the septic nature of their bite and their tough hide, and nivots are a formidable adversary for even the most well armed.

It's very common for these creatures to easily bring down prey many times their own size. They are experts at team work, and it shows in their success throughout the realms.
