Digus

Forum: Realms Of Black Lake - Digus are slimy worm-like creatures that live in moist dark areas, such as deep caves, and have a foul odor to them that keeps most predators away.

They are about 6in. in length and very quick to try and get away when disturbed.

They feed on the slime that covers the rocks in the deepest parts of a cave or dungeon, and are hard to catch because of their slim covered skin.

When placed in a jar of salt water solution they will die, and then their corpse will begin to glow a faint greenish color that will last for 2 or 3 days.

If enough of them can be gathered in a clear jar, or similar transparent vessel, they can be used as a makeshift lantern to light the darkness.
